The visual field is the simultaneous perception of light by the human eye from different angles of sight. Perimetry is the examination of the visual field. In several eye diseases and brain diseases, you find a loss of perception in certain angles. Therefore, perimetry is used as a diagnostic tool by ophthalmologists and optometrists. The devices used by the examiner are called perimeter. Today, these devices are computerized.
